Marked Siam, Sterling silver these brooches were very popular during the 1940's - 1970's period. The Siam mark places this brooch as 1940's. The name of Siam was changed to Thailand during  the late 1940's, so this lovely vintage brooch is from that period. There are eight different etchings surrounding the central white domed enamel disc. Each etching depicts Mekkalah the Goddess of Lightening.  Dimension across is 5cms. There is a firm roll over safety clasp to the back. In excellent condition with just a little wear to the back commensurate with its 80 odd year age.  Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
